Lebanon has its capital city in Beirut which is also the largest city in the country. There are no air services available in Lebanon so to get around you’d have to be driven from one end of the country to the other. Roads are narrow and may seem chaotic to new visitors of the country, and the public transportation system is inadequate. The best way to get through the city is with buses and private/shared taxis.
The Lebanese people are very warm and friendly people, on first encounter, they will greet you warmly, offer you a handshake and then go on to ask about your family and why you are visiting Lebanon. Lebanon, especially Beirut is one of the safest places to travel but it's best to avoid the suburbs in the south of the country.
