Basic Travel Requirements for Swazis visiting Aruba

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Aruban Visa.


  • Duly filled and signed visa application form.
  • Embarkation and Disembarkation card (ED-card) filled and signed where necessary.
  • Your original Eswatini passport that is valid for at least 3 months after the intended date of departure from Aruba. It should have 2 blank pages for visa stamp.
  • Minors are required to present an original birth certificate, as well as a letter of consent signed by their parents/legal guardians.
  • Recent passport-sized photographs that meet the visa photo requirements.
  • Non-Swazis will need to submit a valid residence permit.
  • Flight reservation for Aruba and return ticket to Eswatini. A copy of your travel itinerary is also needed.
  • Medical insurance with a minimum coverage of €30,000 that covers all emergencies during your stay in Aruba.
  • Proof of financial sustenance in Aruba.
  • Proof of accommodation.
  • Documentation showing applicant’s status in Swaziland either as an employee, student or business owner.
  • An introduction letter detailing the purpose and duration of travel.
  • Visa applications cannot be processed at the consulate in Mbabane so you'll have to apply through the Netherlands embassy in Pretoria, South Africa.
