It was built in 1992 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the first discovery of oil in the Persian Gulf, it exhibits old photographs, drilling equipment and a working model of an oil rig.

Bahrain Visitor Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- This visitor visa is for applicants who intend to visit Bahrain for sightseeing, relaxation, and recreational purposes.
- With this visa, you can visit friends and family while in Bahrain.
- You will need to show your recent bank statement to prove that you can afford to spend at least 300BD daily.
- If staying with a Bahrain host, you must present an invitation letter which should contain the duration and purpose of the trip as well as a declaration of financial responsibility where necessary.
- A valid means of identification of your host is needed.
- The visit of the applicant should not violate the national welfare of Bahrain.
- You cannot take up paid employment with this visa.
- The tourist visa can have a validity of 7 days, 2 weeks or even as long as 90 days depending on the discretion of the embassy.

- The business visa also acts as a work visa.
- This visa allows its holders to carry out business activities and seek paid employment while in Bahrain.
- With this visa, its holders can attend business meetings, conferences, exhibitions, and sign contracts while in the country.
- A cover letter stating the purpose and duration of the visit is required.
- An employment contract should be submitted if the reason for seeking travel to Bahrain is employment.
- An invitation letter from the inviting company in Bahrain is required to complete this visa application. This invitation letter must state full details of the trip and should be written on the company's letterhead.
- A business registration certificate of the inviting company should be provided.
- If employed in Swaziland, a letter from your employer confirming knowledge of and approval of your trip, as well as affirming financial responsibility where necessary is needed.
- If you have any previous relations with the inviting company, any document supporting that claim would be important.
- You must apply for a work permit to work in Bahrain.
- Health record from an authorized clinic from Swaziland is needed for this application.
- You must be able to prove that you can take care of your expenses in Bahrain.
