Basic Travel Requirements for Swazis visiting Brazil

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Brazilian Visa.


  • Completely filled and signed visa application form.
  • An original passport that is valid for at least 6 months from entry date in Brazil. The passport must have 2 pages for visa stamps.
  • One-color photo size 3 x 4 cm, taken on a white background.
  • Round trip ticket.
  • Proof of accommodation.
  • Proof of financial support.
  • Documentation showing status as either student, employee or business owner in Eswatini.
  • For minors, the original birth certificate and a signed letter of consent from their parents are needed.
  • Yellow Fever international vaccination card.
  • Documentation detailing the purpose and duration of your stay in Brazil.
  • Proof of payment of consular fees.
  • Valid Swaziland National ID Card.
  • There is no Brazilian embassy in Swaziland so the visa applications should go through the embassy in Maputo, Mozambique.
  • You are not required to be physically present at the embassy but you have to contact the embassy before sending the required documents.
