Can I drink the water in Brazil?
The tap water in Brazil is generally regarded as treated and safe to drink. However, even Brazilians don’t care for tap water and mostly go for bottled or filtered water which is available at most hotels, lodges, and restaurants. Public areas such as airports usually have water fountains providing filtered water. Tap water is certainly safe to use for teeth brushing or washing throughout the country.
