  • Citizens of  Swaziland must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization for visiting Sri-Lanka for tourism and is valid for a 30 day stay.
  • To apply for an ETA,visitors are expected to fill an online form with their passport details.
  • To apply for an ETA,  a passport  with at least 6 months validity before the departure date is required.
  • After applying for the Sri-Lanka ETA visa, visitors would not need stamps on their passports because the ETA visa would be electronically linked to their passport.
  • Visitors can extend their ETA by applying to the Department of Immigration and Emmigration.
  • Visitors are expected to possess a return ticket or  computer generated flight itinerary from a travel agency as well as proof of financial support.
  • Visitors are required to carry proof of Yellow Fever vaccination.
  • Tourists are to tender evidence of accommodation which could be in form of a reserved hotel booking or invitation letter from a host living in Sri-Lanka.
  • Foreign currencies exceeding USD 15,000 or its equivalent must be declared on arrival.
  • Visitors are required to declare valuable personal belongings upon arrival to ensure free export.
